At 20 years and 54 days, Lamar Odom becomes the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple-double, with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 122-100 Clippers loss to the Rockets. It breaks a record held for 20 years by Magic Johnson.

Becky Hammon becomes the first woman ever to serve as an NBA head coach, taking over for the Spurs during a 127-101 loss to the Lakers when Gregg Popovich was ejected from the game.
